Women4Green Impact Series #7: Zero Waste Santa

On 3 December 2019, we hosted our seventh Impact Series, titled Zero Waste Santa. CDL’s Women4Green Network celebrated the festive season with sustainability in mind, presenting two workshops that helped attendants create eco-friendly Christmas presents. Participants brought home customised essential oil blends or MusicCloth® art pieces.

One group worked with Rehyphen®, an organisation that pioneered an upcycling initiative where they collect and weave discarded tapes into MusicCloth® in an effort to reduce and eliminate e-waste, while also giving the product new life.

The other group worked with doTERRA, meaning “gift of the earth”, an organisation built on the mission of sharing Certified Pure Therapeutic Grade® essential oils with the world through Co-Impact Sourcing®, an initiative that seeks to develop long-term, mutually beneficial supplier partnerships, jobs, and provide reliable income in underdeveloped areas.
