YOUTH DEVELOPMENT

This annual case study competition is organised in partnership with the Global Compact Network Singapore (GCNS) for students from tertiary institutions to have hands-on experience in developing SDG-focussed business strategies for participating companies.

In partnership with Global Green Economic Forum, the E-Generation Challenge aims to encourage and empower youths to step forward with actionable, impactful ideas on tackling climate change. Past winners had the chance to go with O.B.E. Robert Swan on an expedition to the Antarctica.

In collaboration with local non-profit organisation, Ground-Up Initiative, Little Green Hearts imparts to children between four and seven years of age, tips on sustainable living through a multi-sensory learning experience.

Located at the National Library Board (NLB)’s Central Public Library, My Tree House is a collaboration between CDL and NLB to cultivate children’s interest in environmental conservation and nurturing them to be environmentally conscious as they grow up. About a third of the 84,000 books in My Tree House cover environmental-related topics such as animals, plants and nature. Opened in 2013, My Tree House is the World’s 1st Green Library for kids.
