Youth4Climate Movie Night in the Gardens, 4 September
This year’s festival will kick-off with an outdoor movie screening event for the whole family on Sunday, 4 September 2022 at 5.30pm at the Singapore Botanic Garden’s Palm Valley. After taking a pause due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this well-loved event is making an in-person comeback to raise awareness about environmental and social resilience in building a better future for all.
Programme:
- 5.30pm: Free flow snacks (first come first served basis)
- 6.30pm: Catch Robert Swan in-person and hear about his polar expeditions!
- 7.30pm: Start of Frozen II movie
Organised in partnership with the Singapore Botanic Gardens, the Youth4Climate Festival supports the President’s Challenge, Singapore Green Plan 2030 and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
Youth4Climate Concert, 24 September

The 2019 Youth4Climate Concert featured a 150-strong combined school choir and angklung ensemble from participating primary and secondary schools, young musical proteges such as Jacob Cheng, performers from Dancecare and a song medley performed by song duo, Uber Duber!

In celebration of the Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment’s (MSE) Climate Action Week 2022, CDL’s Youth4Climate Concert is back for its fifth edition this year at the Shaw Foundation Symphony Stage in the Singapore Botanic Gardens! The concert serves as a finale to this action-packed week rallying people and communities to drive change.
CDL will continue to raise support for social causes through the 2022 President’s Challenge by donating $5.00 for every ‘like’ and ‘share’ of CDL’s Youth4Climate-related social media posts on Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn from now till the end of September 2022. We have lined up seven acts in our musical spectacular, featuring performances that reflect our youths’ concerns and aspirations for the future of our planet. Winners from this year’s My Tree House “We Love Our Planet” Storytelling Contest will also give a special storytelling!
