Women4Green Impact Series #22: CDL Celebrates International Women’s Day 2026 – Featuring Susan Chong, A Pioneering Entrepreneur with Sustainability DNA

In celebration of International Women’s Day 2026, the SSA was proud to host an inspiring dialogue with Ms Susan Chong – founder of Greenphyto Pte. Ltd., focusing on the themes of building businesses with purpose, and striving to empower women in green spaces. The session was opened with welcoming remarks by CDL’s Chief Sustainability Officer, Ms Esther An. The session proceeded with a fireside chat which explored Susan’s experiences in founding sustainable businesses – Greenpac and Greenphyto – as well as the challenges of doing so. Her story of building a sustainable business that positively impacts both people and the planet resonated with the theme for IWD 2026, “Give to Gain”.
