About Us
Recognising that female empowerment is crucial for the advancement of climate action, CDL created Women4Green in 2017.
A platform dedicated to capacity-building and collaboration amongst female leaders, executives youths catalyse positive change towards a more sustainable future for all, Women4Green aspires to unearth more female champions amongst male-dominated industries to advocate sustainable practices at work, at home and at play.
Our Story
Since our founding, we’ve embarked on our flagship Women4Green Impact series which harnesses the collective knowledge and expertise of women across industries. The WOMEN4GREEN IMPACT SERIES strives to incite meaningful change at work, at home andat play via events and discussions. This initiative supports SDG 5 (Gender Equality) and SDG 13 (Climate Action).

Outreach and Engagement: Women4Green’s Founder and CDL’s Chief Sustainability Officer Ms Esther An speaks at local and international platforms, reaching out to the public, private and people sectors. Topics covered in her engagements delve into climate action, strategic ESG/SDG integration, green building and smart technologies, sustainability reportion, ESG investing and green financing, and more.
Through Ms An’s public engagements and external appointments on boards and advisory platforms of international organizations, she has generated a multiplier effect on CDL’s outreach and positive impact in both global and local arenas.
Inspiring and Empowering Young Women Champions: Ms An is a proud mentor under the Young Women’s Leadership Connection, a group of women leaders passionate to empower others and committed to drive positive change within communities.
In partnership with women-led associations such as Financial Womens Association of Singapore and Association of Women in Construction, Women4Green is dedicated to the engagement, education and empowerment of female sustainability champions.
One Young World is an annual global forum for young leaders to discuss and generate solutions for some of the world’s most pressing issues. One Young World’s mission is to empower young leaders to create positive change in their communities and beyond. The forum connects delegates with influential leaders and experts, providing them with the knowledge, tools, and networks to drive social, economic, and environmental impact. Many of its ambassadors have gone on to lead significant initiatives in areas such as human rights, climate action, health, and education.
The inaugural One Young World ASEAN Leadership Forum was held on August 5, 2023, at the Singapore Sustainability Academy, engaging over 200 youth changemakers from across ASEAN.
CDL took pride to be the first Singaporean company to send a representative to OYW Belfast in 2023, and sent their second delegate to the 2024 edition in Montreal, providing opportunities and exposure to nurture future leaders within the company.
OYW will continue to be a key partner in CDL, SSA, and Women4Green’s efforts to engage youth in the 3P sectors and drive climate action in the region.
