MY TREE HOUSE “WE LOVE OUR PLANET” STORYTELLING CONTEST 2023

Themed “Say No To Waste!”, this year’s edition of the My Tree House’s “We Love Our Planet” Storytelling Contest is jointly organized by CDL and NLB in celebration of World Environment Day 2023 and in support of its theme to #BeatPlasticPollution.

This annual initiative continues to encourage family bonding through storytelling and home video production, while aiming to unearth young eco champions and their families to develop their love of nature and to take action to protect our planet.

Produced by award-winning filmmaker Ang Qing Sheng, “We Love Our Planet – Say No to Waste 2023” features finalists from the contest and highlights our children’s love for our planet and aims to inspire people to be responsible consumers, and to say no to waste.

A big “Thank you” to our panel of judges, Ms Heng Huey Bin, Principal Librarian (Children & Teens), National Library Board; Ms Kamini Ramachandran, Director, MoonShadow Stories & The Storytelling Centre Limited; Ms Joanna Soh, Chief Operating Officer, Stewardship Asia Centre; Rachel Kelly, Radio Host and Climate & Finance Journalist, SPH Radio; and Ms Esther An, Chief Sustainability Officer, CDL.

We would also like to thank all the parents for their hard work in supporting their children in this meaningful initiative.
